Wetland Biodiversity Day

Learn about wetlands and their inhabitants!
Participate in one of our hands-on survey offered throughout the day (frog, bird, butterfly and dragonfly). Great activity for families.
Catch some critters from the Marsh with a net an a pail.
Watch a live songbird banding demonstration from 9:00 to 12:00.
Pop-up Gift Shop
The Wetland Discovery Centre is currently closed for renovations. Please meet at the Willow Retreat, located just south of the parking, to sign in and get your wristband.
This is also where you can have your lunch, visit the pop-up gift shop, and use indoor washrooms.
Some activities will take place at the Willow Retreat, some at the Bird Banding Station and some in the Courtyard.
Pre-registration is required.
FEE: MEMBERS $10/ NON-MEMBERS $15
A hotdog lunch is available for purchase. ($5 per person)
